Celebrated 30 years of serving Will County
Placed 75 families in homes
Conducted a seven-home blitz (seven homes constructed simultaneously!)
Celebrated 20 years of a collaborative effort building homes with the Lockport Township High School students
Placed 10 families in rehabbed homes in one year through the Bank of America foreclosure program
Opened a ReStore where the proceeds build our homes and offer the community a donation center for home and building materials
Conducted a build with Oprah Winfrey
Built alongside Jimmy Carter through the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project
Launched the release of the film Rudy with Tri-Star Pictures at the Rialto Theatre in Joliet
Hosted the Homes for Hounds event – Teams creating themed dog houses, because even man’s best friends needs a home.
Hosted Women Build – Teams of Women coming together to highlight the need for affordable housing, while fundraising and building our homes.
Hosted Tinsel & Tinis – Over 300 ladies kicking off the holidays with Habitat.
Brought thousands of volunteers together to make a difference and support our mission
Selected as a recipient agency of the annual Chicago Auto Show’s First Look For Charity event
Kicked off the Will County Beer and Bourbon Fest event to fund a new home for a veteran – The House Beer & Bourbon Built
